"The Nuilthmal is sometimes called the
Fool dancer. Dancers wearing these
masks provide comic relief when a
potlatch becomes too serious. These
dancers covort around the room
humorously harassing the spectators.
They terrorize by pulling concelled eagle
down from their nostrils, representing
snoot, and throwing it at the people."
