Jerry Whitehead

Jerry is a Cree native artist from the James Smith Band,
Saskatchewan, Canada. As a child he was inspired by
native dancers. His paintings incorporate the visions of
his elders and his own observations of powwow regalia.

He recieved a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Regina
in 1983 and completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at the Nova
Scotia College of Arts and Design in Halifax, 1987.
