Pugwis is a fisherman that fell overboard while out at sea. Instead of drowning he was saved by the undersea creatures and taught to breath under water where he lived for many years. He became lonely for his old village but when he tried to return he found he could no longer breath in the air. Here he uses the Sea Urchin to lurk in the tide pools trying to see on shore to his old village.
